Monthly and yearly goals

Goals are set month by month. The yearly figure is derived from them, which is why it sometimes refuses to take the value you type.

Setting a monthly goal

In the Month view, set your hours goal for that month. The app then shows what remains for the month and for the current day.

To use the same figure all year, the yearly view offers Apply same goal to every month of the year.

How the yearly goal is worked out

You can type a yearly goal, but the app compares it with the sum of your twelve monthly goals and keeps whichever is larger.

So if your monthly goals already add up to more than the year figure you entered, the year shows the larger total. To bring the year down, lower the monthly goals.

What is left to do

The day view shows the hours still needed for the day and for the month, recalculated as you record time. Whether credit hours count towards it depends on the Include credit hours setting.
